In Short

• Provide accounting support to the Senior Operations Manager and Director.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices.
• Review travel expense reports for European employees.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Manage accounting for research projects.
• Reconcile Deutsche Bundesbank reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
• Remote position based in Germany.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or administrative support.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in preparing financial statements.
• Experience with DATEV and Google Sheets preferred.
• Basic knowledge of tax law is a plus.
• Able to work independently.
• Apprenticeship in accounting or related field preferred.
