Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Consultant - Remote

Overview

The Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Consultant will provide timely reviews of patient medical records to ensure accurate and complete documentation to reflect the patient’s severity and complexity of illness.

In Short

• Review medical records for accurate documentation.
• Initiate queries to ensure accurate data.
• Adhere to guidelines by ACDIS, AAPC, and AHIMA.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Understand healthcare business issues.
• Collaborate with clients and management.
• Utilize computer software as required.

Requirements

• 2+ years of clinical documentation experience.
• Current RN license or medical school graduate with 5+ years of acute care experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills for medical record evaluation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products.
• Effective communication skills.
