Payroll Specialist - Remote

Overview

Dudek is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist to support payroll processing and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and multi-state regulations. This role involves handling payroll functions, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining employee records while providing excellent service to internal teams.

In Short

• Process bi-weekly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain payroll records, including earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in payroll audits and reporting requirements.
• Support timesheet integration between Deltek Vantagepoint and Dayforce.
• Stay updated on payroll laws and best practices.
• Assist with payroll tax-related activities, including accurate calculation and submission of payroll taxes.
• Work closely with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters.
• Provide support for system updates and payroll process improvements.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment.
• Experience with payroll systems, preferably Deltek Vantagepoint or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of federal and state payroll regulations.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
