Data Protection Specialist - Remote

Overview

This position will support the efforts of Data Protection and Technology Services to ensure DTCC's adherence to regulatory and legal data protection and privacy requirements, supporting all lines of businesses and across all functional areas of DTCC and its companies globally.

In Short

• Keep abreast of global data privacy laws and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct annual privacy inventory of data and processing activities.
• Manage inquiries received in the privacy mailbox.
• Perform privacy vendor evaluations.
• Liaise with business lines to identify privacy risk areas.
• Draft and maintain privacy policies and procedures.
• Assist in reviewing changes to applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist with annual privacy training and awareness programs.
• Support data breach investigations and reporting.
• Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
