Part-Time Accounting Assistant/Medical Bookkeeper - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented, part time Accounting Assistant/Medical Bookkeeper to support the accounting team in a multi-site medical practice. This role is essential to maintaining DrSnip’s transactional workflows and revenue cycle management with accuracy and efficiency.

In Short

• Support the accounting department with clerical tasks related to financial transactions.
• Perform data entry and insurance payment processing.
• Reconcile accounts and allocate patient payments.
• Maintain financial records and assist with financial statement preparation.
• Ensure accuracy of all financial information.
• Handle special projects as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Associate's Degree in accounting or related field.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written comprehension and expression.
• Ability to respond to inquiries and provide information to patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in basic mathematical methods for business calculations.
• Proficiency in EHR/EMR, Document Management Software, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite.
