Part-time Bookkeeper/Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and reliable Bookkeeper/ Accountant to join our finance team.

In Short

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Maintain the general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Record and categorize all financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts regularly.
• Manage accounts, invoices, and payments to vendors.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Identify improvements to financial reporting processes.
• Train with the current accounting team on QuickBooks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
