Head of Finance - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Head of Finance to lead our finance team in Germany and actively shape our financial processes. In this role, you will manage financial statements, consolidation, and process optimization in an international environment.

In Short

• Responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB (in-house) and IFRS (outsourced)
• Leading and developing the finance team
• Managing the audit process and collaborating closely with auditors and tax advisors to comply with local and international tax regulations
• Implementing and integrating LucaNet
• Cross-functional collaboration with teams in Australia, the UK, Manila, and Germany
• Ensuring accurate financial consolidation across all international units

Requirements

• Proven experience in group accounting, including consolidation and financial reporting
• Strong experience with monthly financial statements
• Practical experience in preparing audits and annual financial statements (HGB, IFRS is a plus)
• Very good knowledge in SAP FI, SD, and MM
• Experience in process improvement and further automation
• Tax knowledge and experience working with tax advisors
• Familiarity with LUCANET and its implementation
• Willingness to travel to Hamburg (at least once a month)
• Fluent in English and German
