Platform/DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Platform/DevOps Engineer to join our growing DevOps team that makes up part of the Platform and Data Engineering function. This role involves designing and managing production and development environments that support the Dotdigital SaaS platform evolution.

In Short

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure.
• Automate deployment processes and improve system performance.
• Ensure 24/7 platform uptime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Engage in all stages of the DevOps Engineering Life Cycle.
• Propose and implement various infrastructure architectures.
• Maintain and deploy highly-available systems.
• Utilize Azure cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Work collaboratively to deliver end-to-end products.
• Participate in on-call rotation after probation.

Requirements

• Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Exposure to cloud native technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Azure ARM).
• Familiarity with versioning tools like Git.
• Excellent CI/CD pipeline authoring skills.
• Experience with observability tools (ElasticSearch, Grafana).
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows OS.
• Positive and proactive attitude.
• Excellent written, verbal, and problem-solving skills.
