Cloud & DevOps Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Cloud & DevOps Platform Engineer for our client in the insurance industry in Zurich.

In Short

• Responsible for developing the cloud and DevOps system landscape including all associated tools.
• Implement requirements in the DevOps toolchain: Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, Artifactory.
• Automate and extend the pipeline with all subsystems.
• Integrate and enable cloud services for the client (Azure / AWS).
• Support application developers in cloud transformation.
• Modernize or replace legacy modules.
• Enable local and international teams regarding handover and operational transition.

Requirements

• Completed studies or higher education in computer science or similar.
• Several years of professional experience in Cloud / DevOps.
• Very good knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, Artifactory.
• Profound knowledge of cloud environments such as Azure / AWS, Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with scripting or programming languages like Terraform, Groovy, Python, Bash.
• Experience with network and on-premise systems.
• Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with existing systems.
• Fluent in German and English.
