Overview

The Software Engineer - Security will be part of DoorDash's Security Engineering team, focusing on designing, developing, and operating security services for the company's cloud infrastructure.

In Short

• Build core security services for DoorDash’s infrastructure.
• Develop security observability and detection systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on security or infrastructure.
• Demonstrated improvements to infrastructure security.
• Expertise in Backend development using Golang, Kotlin, and Protobuf.
• Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure management.
• Ability to solve complex systemic issues.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Excellent communication skills for security design discussions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for security testing.
