In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain core components of Docker Desktop.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define best practices for the application lifecycle.
• Continuously monitor and improve application stability.
• Work with customers to learn about their needs and debug issues.
• Support architecture reviews to keep Docker Desktop modular.
• Write, review, and maintain high-quality code.
• Champion a culture of knowledge-sharing.
• Collaborate with leadership to define priorities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a backend software engineer, preferably using Go.
• Hands-on experience delivering cross-platform desktop applications.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems internals, OS-level APIs, and networking.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to interact with upstream communities and customers.
