Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Data Engineer is responsible for data integrity, optimization and upkeep of the DHR Corporate Procurement Systems databases and ETL processes. This position is a key part of the Corporate Global Procurement Team and will be remote.

In Short

• Analyze, troubleshoot, document and optimize SQL Databases and ETL processes.
• Investigate, improve, and maintain data quality.
• Document database processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Leverage Azure resources such as Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and analysts.
• Monitor database performance and implement performance tuning.
• Ensure data security and integrity.
• Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years in a data analyst or engineering role.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SQL Developer, specifically with T-SQL.
• Solid understanding of database design principles.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure services preferred.
• Experience with database migration projects is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in Azure are advantageous.
