Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant at Diverzify+ is responsible for coordinating multiple accounting duties, including preparing financial reports and assisting with audits, while working remotely.

In Short

• Coordinate accounting functions and programs.
• Prepare financial analyses and reports.
• Prepare revenue projections and forecasting expenditures.
• Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets and statements.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with annual audit preparations.
• Investigate and resolve audit findings and discrepancies.
• Assist payroll with Union audits.
• Contribute to the development of new accounting systems.
• Support junior staff as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Senior Accountant role.
• Strong background using Microsoft Excel.
