• Lead our Platform Engineering Team of 6-10 skilled individual contributors.
• Recruit and grow talent through hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
• Build a platform that supports customer needs and provides SREs with necessary tools.
• Ensure high test coverage, rigorous engineering, and stellar documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and product managers on platform roadmaps.
• Improve developer workflows through automation and large scale CI/CD.
• Regularly ship updates to our platform including new cloud provider support.
• Set team culture by example, expanding Ditto’s culture of trust and communication.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing teams of software engineers.
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to once a quarter.
• Prior experience with cloud platform development (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent leadership skills focused on team growth and collaboration.
• Experience with large scale CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• A strategic, product-oriented mindset balancing technical and business needs.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
