The Legal Assistant – Litigation & Case Production role involves providing support in case management, document drafting, and litigation processes, primarily in a remote setting.

In Short

• Manage case setup and documentation using Clio.
• Draft legal documents under attorney supervision.
• E-file documents in Florida state and federal courts.
• Organize and compile medical records for legal cases.
• Assist attorneys with hearing preparation and case summaries.
• Utilize AI tools for document management and drafting.
• Maintain electronic file structures and naming conventions.
• Communicate with medical providers regarding records requests.
• Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Work from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a legal assistant or litigation support role.
• Strong written English proficiency for legal drafting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with Florida e-filing systems.
• Experience with Google Workspace tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and templates.
• Capability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
• Comfort using AI tools for productivity.
• Prior experience in a U.S.-based law firm preferred.
