Website Manager - Remote

Overview

Discord is looking for an experienced Web Manager to support our Core Platform Marketing team composed of web managers, content writers, project managers, and external agencies. You will contribute to our site strategy execution & operation, managing project deliverables through the entirety of their digital lifecycle.

In Short

• Lead the production of new discord.com projects from design concept through completion.
• Draft plans, processes, and timelines for site development projects.
• Be a connector across various teams to manage Discord’s web presence.
• Highlight potential project risks and support the web team in solving issues.
• Manage the front & back-end development of web projects.
• Coordinate resources for writing, graphic design, and SEO.
• Support the construction & maintenance of Discord's web architecture.
• Identify and scope technical issues across our web stack.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and passion for digital content integrity.
• Experience communicating with empathy cross-functionally.
• 6+ years of experience managing websites & website content production.
• Proven work experience as a digital project manager.
• Hands-on experience with project management software such as Notion, Asana.
• Proficiency in front-end Webflow development.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Extra credit for understanding subcultures and fandoms.
