In Short

• The Commercial Print/Lettershop Estimator accurately estimates the cost, time, materials, labor, and equipment required for print and direct mail projects.
• Collaborates with vendors to evaluate risks and estimates timelines.
• Researches new vendors and keeps up with internal equipment and capabilities.
• Reviews RFQs from Sales, as assigned.
• Estimates print production costs and materials.
• Prepares internal Lettershop costs to run jobs.
• Creates internal print pricing worksheets and Client Face Quote documents.
• Completes additional assignments and special projects from the VP, Operations as needed.
• Demonstrates behavior consistent with DMS values and the Code of Conduct.
• Adheres to all DMS policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
• Brilliant management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to closely collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders.
• Extensive knowledge of best industry practices and standards.
• Advanced computer skills and demonstrated competency with software such as PrintStream and Excel.
• Prior knowledge of and experience in the printing industry.
• Prior experience in Print Buying and Estimating for Print Production.
