Manager, Field Application Engineering - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Field Application Engineering will lead a team of Engineers and Technicians in implementing and troubleshooting autonomous delivery robots while ensuring safe and compliant installations.

In Short

• Manage a team of Field Application Engineers and Technicians.
• Conduct 1-on-1’s and career progression planning.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering teams.
• Perform installations, training, and validations for new robots.
• Act as a customer advocate and provide feedback.
• Create documentation for technical training and procedures.
• Provide ongoing technical and customer service assistance.
• Perform network and site surveys.
• Assist the platform engineering team with integrations.
• Travel 50% of the time for site needs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in team leadership.
• Experience in conducting productive 1:1’s.
• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems.
• Coding experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Basic understanding of hardware/software installations.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Proven troubleshooting skills.
• Self-motivated and success-oriented.
• Valid US Driver’s License required.
• Ability to pass hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
• Willing to travel Monday through Friday for extended periods.
• Excellent team player with outstanding communication skills.
