Overview

The Technical Sales Engineer at Donaldson will support Territory Managers and Key Accounts Managers in addressing complex filtration challenges, driving sales growth, and providing customer solutions in engine filtration.

In Short

  • Support Territory and Key Accounts Managers in solving filtration problems.
  • Secure sales growth by formulating solutions for customers.
  • Train and support distributors and end-users on product applications.
  • Implement field service strategies to meet sales goals.
  • Conduct troubleshooting at customer sites.
  • Provide feedback on industry trends and distributor performance.
  • Conduct product trials to gain customer confidence.
  • Work with product management to develop new products.
  • Travel up to 60% for customer engagements.
  • Ensure compliance with export control regulations.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of technical experience in an automobile/engineering environment.
  • 3-5 years of field sales engineering experience.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to learn new technologies through training.
  • Effective written and verbal skills in English.
