The Second Cook contributes to the overall success of the Culinary team, preparing the dinner menu and ensuring quality standards.

In Short

  • Prepare starch and vegetable items for dinner menus.
  • Work closely with the First Cook on menu preparation.
  • Follow recipes and maintain presentation standards.
  • Assist in cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen areas.
  • Responsible for preparing and serving hot breakfast.
  • Must commit to a 4-week on/2-week off rotation.
  • Work in a remote camp environment with provided meals and accommodation.
  • Handle physical demands including lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Food Safe certification required.
  • Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule.

Requirements

  • Experience in large-scale cooking in camps, hotels, or banquet settings.
  • Current Food Safe certification.
  • Team player focused on client satisfaction.
  • Valid government-issued photo ID for travel.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
