Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and administering BI analytic solutions using the Microsoft platform and tool stack, including reporting, dash boarding, and warehousing tasks.

In Short

• Design and develop enterprise and departmental BI Reporting and Analytics solutions
• Partner with senior management to deliver performance insights
• Lead technical implementations from data definitions to reporting
• Mentor and guide the business intelligence team
• Write complex SQL and stored procedures for applications and reports
• Develop standard reporting using advanced SQL
• Create interactive dashboards using Power BI and SSRS
• Work with various data sources including SQL Server and Oracle
• Document reporting requirements from customer meetings
• Results-driven with the ability to meet deadlines

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft BI stack and development tools
• Expertise in complex SQL, data analysis, and reporting
• Experience with Tableau and SSAS Cubes
• Strong knowledge of Data warehousing and ETL concepts
• Background in Scrum/Agile project management
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Azure Data lakes and Data Factory
• Familiarity with Azure Synapse and Python (nice to have)
