Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Engineer will support TSA's IT systems and mission-critical systems through operations support, technology innovation, management services, system maintenance, and the development and implementation of new software solutions.

In Short

• Administer and maintain the RHEL-based server infrastructure.
• Work on RHEL 7.x/8.x for system administration tasks.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies.
• Perform system backups and recovery processes.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior administrators.
• Perform vulnerability scans using common scanning tools.
• Investigate security breaches and create mitigation plans.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required; dual citizenship not accepted.
• An active Security clearance is required.
• 7 or more years of experience in a RHEL Senior Engineer role.
• Experience with RHEL 6.x/7.x.
