Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a central team that develops and operates a system for digitizing construction sites for fiber-rollout in Germany, focusing on efficiency, quality improvements, and automation.

In Short

• Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure environments on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Oversee deployment, configuration, and management of clusters.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain and adjust monitoring and logging solutions.
• Ensure security best practices are followed.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams for smooth application integration.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers.
• Ensure application stability and perform incident analyses.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitOps and ArgoCD.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Configuration management with Terraform.
• Familiarity with microservice architectures and REST interfaces.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and tools like GitLab.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and AWS services.
