Data Center Infrastructure Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Data Center Infrastructure Specialist will manage the ramp-up and build-up of hardware, coordinate the end-to-end hardware build process, and support hardware installations in the data center.

In Short

• Manage the ramp-up and build of hardware.
• Coordinate end-to-end hardware build processes for new platforms.
• Create cabling plans and plan hardware installations.
• Support hardware installation in the data center.
• Register assets and support hardware refresh.
• Communicate and coordinate with third-party vendors.
• Consult on build-up issues and process improvements.
• Understand complex data center infrastructure build and configuration.
• Work with IT operations and manage data assets.
• Support engineering and application lines in proof of concepts.

Requirements

• Advanced English skills, both verbal and written.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure and operations.
• Structured way of working and managing data assets.
• Experience with VMware products, e.g., vROPS (nice to have).
• Experience with NetApp storage products (nice to have).
• Experience with CISCO network products (nice to have).
• Experience with Service Now (nice to have).
• Experience with SOM@SAP (nice to have).
• Experience with Asset Manager (nice to have).
• Experience with Nlyte tool (nice to have).
