Overview

The Principal Packaging Engineer at Medtronic will lead the development, validation, and implementation of packaging systems for sterile medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and optimizing for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Degree in BioMechanical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Packaging or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in medical device packaging and R&D.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and statistical analysis software.
• Knowledge of ISO, ASTM, and ISTA standards.
• Ability to manage projects and build relationships with teams.
• Understanding of circulatory and heart-related therapies.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
