Overview

The Workplace Giving Coordinator is a key member of the Fund Development team at DESC, responsible for leading and executing workplace giving efforts, engaging donors through their employers, and supporting sustained revenue growth.

In Short

  • Lead and optimize DESC's workplace giving strategy.
  • Engage and cultivate relationships with workplace donors.
  • Develop tailored solicitation strategies for donor groups.
  • Manage a portfolio of workplace donors and ensure stewardship.
  • Identify new workplace giving opportunities.
  • Plan workplace volunteer events and engagement experiences.
  • Collaborate with DESC’s Corporate Relations and Foundations team.
  • Maintain accurate donor records using Salesforce.
  • Participate in community-centric fundraising initiatives.
  • Represent DESC at workplace giving events.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in nonprofit fundraising or related roles.
  • Strong communication and professional writing skills.
  • Commitment to equity-based fundraising practices.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency, including MS Office.
  • Pass a required Washington State criminal background check.
  • Flexibility to attend in-person events across King County.
