Backup Architect - Remote

Overview

Our client from the Zug region has been providing professional IT consulting and services for large companies for over 30 years. They develop and implement customized, standards-based IT solutions for the efficient design of automated business processes. In the course of a succession solution, we are looking for a dynamic Backup Architect.

In Short

• Independently conduct customer projects in the backup environment
• Handle technical inquiries in the backup environment (Commvault, Cohesity, Dell, Veeam, and Veritas)
• Technical project implementations (Implementation and Engineering)
• Support in technical presales & support with technical know-how
• Assist in tenders
• Create and edit concepts
• Conduct technical product presentations and workshops
• Incident and problem management
• Escalate technical inquiries to internal support and vendor support
• Contact with suppliers, supplier support
• Home office or working in the office, you decide

Requirements

• You have experience in the backup area
• Linux expertise is a plus
• You have the ability to recognize and articulate complex relationships of different IT infrastructures
• You want to expand and develop the mentioned tasks
• You bring passion, great commitment, and dedication
