Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Platform Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our platform, demonstrating a strong understanding of system architecture, problem-solving skills, and the ability to guide junior engineers.

• Automate and build a runtime Production Environment.
• Mentor junior engineers by breaking down complex issues.
• Validate solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Independently solve problems and develop components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on medium-level tasks.
• Provide accurate time and effort estimates for tasks.
• Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages.
• Facilitate CI/CD and automation processes.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Kubernetes.
• Maintain operational runbooks and alerts.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role.
• Proficient with GitLab CI and managing GitLab Runners.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with continuous delivery and AWS services.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with security automation and API Security.
• Hold a security clearance or eligible to apply for one.
• Knowledgeable about DevSecOps and CI/CD theory.
