Overview

As a Senior Back End Engineer at Deezer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing systems that make music content available to users, working within the Core Product department and collaborating with rights owners.

In Short

• Design architecture for new types of content.
• Develop APIs to serve internal data.
• Maintain and monitor ingestion scripts for various content.
• Develop tools for data enrichment.
• Create a back office for internal stakeholders.
• Deploy and monitor app performance and quality.
• Provide technical support for the supply chain team.
• Participate in product ideation with managers.
• Maintain code quality standards.
• Contribute to the Community of Practice for backend stack improvements.

Requirements

• Solid professional experience with PHP development.
• Experience with large data volumes and scalability.
• First experience in Go is a plus.
• Strong PHP knowledge and best practices (SOLID, DDD, PSRs, unit tests).
• Ability to work autonomously on medium to large scale tasks.
• Experience in engineering best practices (code versioning, tests, reviews).
• Comfortable with Kubernetes and Docker environments.
• Good written and spoken English.
