We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert System Administrator to manage and maintain our Linux and Windows environments within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and system optimization.
You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of cloud-based systems.
Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot both Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
Develop automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Terraform.
Implement security best practices, including IAM policies and firewalls.
Utilize monitoring tools to track system performance and optimize resource utilization.
Implement backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
Investigate and resolve system issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Work closely with DevOps, developers, and network engineers.

Requirements

Deep understanding of Linux and Windows administration.
Experience with automation and scripting languages.
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and security best practices.
Proficiency in monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana.
Experience in backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.
Ability to maintain clear documentation of system configurations.
Familiarity with compliance and security training.
Staying updated on GCP trends and threats.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
