The Payroll Expert serves as a regional subject matter expert, owning end-to-end payroll execution for specific countries or regions, requiring deep technical expertise in local payroll regulations, systems implementation, and vendor management.

• Evaluate and select relevant software for running payroll.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll in your region.
• Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports.
• Own local payroll and HR processes.
• Schedule payroll expenses collections and reconcile collections to expenses.
• Assess and improve rapid growth processes and procedures.
• Stay informed of local regulatory changes.
• Work cross-functionally on local payroll and HR matters.
• Answer complex payroll and HR related questions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of payroll and HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations related to payroll.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong proficiency in English.
• Experience managing technology and external payroll providers is an advantage.
