Overview

Deel is looking for a payroll expert to ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll in various regions, while also preparing and reconciling internal payroll reports and ensuring compliance with local tax authorities.

In Short

• Ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll in your region and other trained countries
• Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports
• Schedule payroll expenses collections and reconcile collections to expenses
• Assess and improve rapid growth processes and procedures
• Stay informed of local regulatory changes
• Work cross-functionally on local payroll and HR matters
• Answer complex payroll and HR related questions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
• 4+ years of payroll and HR experience
• Strong knowledge of local regulations related to payroll and HR
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Advanced knowledge of local payroll software
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
• Strong proficiency in English
• Experience managing technology and external payroll providers is an advantage
