Junior Legal Counsel - Remote

Overview

As a Junior Legal Counsel at Deel, you will assist with employment law compliance and provide legal support for various employment-related issues, helping to ensure that the company operates within the legal frameworks of Spain.

In Short

• Provide assistance on employment law and compliance.
• Draft and review employment agreements and employee handbooks.
• Advise on recruitment, hiring, and employee relations.
• Contribute to contract negotiation processes.
• Develop training materials and guidelines.
• Work closely with the HR team on various employment issues.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Catalan is a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience preferred.
• Proactive and able to work under pressure.
• Flexible work arrangements including remote work.

Requirements

• 2-5 years’ experience (in-house experience is not essential).
• Specialist knowledge of Spanish employment law.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Catalan is a plus.
• Proactive, resilient, and adaptable.
• Able to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CV must be submitted in English.
