Overview

The HR Experience Specialist at Deel will be responsible for ensuring compliance and maintaining HR operations in Portugal. This role involves managing employee records, onboarding and offboarding processes, and providing support for HR-related queries.

• Ensure HR compliance and operations in Portugal.
• Manage leave requests and administrative tasks for Employee of Records (EORs).
• Audit and update HR-related knowledge.
• Provide HR support to clients and EORs.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Ensure quality of HR operations in assigned countries.
• Act as a subject matter expert for operational quality.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as an HR Specialist or similar role.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
• Excellent communication and customer orientation skills.
• Knowledge of Portuguese labor law is essential.
• HR qualifications or certifications are a plus.
• International HR experience is advantageous.
• Experience in start-up environments is valued.
• Strong analytical skills to resolve HR issues.
• Data-driven mindset for improving employee experience.
• Experience with JIRA, Zendesk, and Slack is a plus.
