Packaging Technician - Remote

Overview

DuPont’s Healthcare Industries Material Site (HIMS) is seeking a Packaging Technician in Hemlock, MI! This position is in the front line of packaging finished goods to prepare for shipment.

In Short

• Package products for various customers using various packaging materials.
• Complete electronic documentation for the orders you are packaging.
• Safely transport goods via forklift throughout the plant.
• Perform daily tasks using the appropriate computer tools and software.
• Follow procedures and practices to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
• Work a rotating 12-hour shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs is required.
• Stand/sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Perceive, identify, and respond to plant and site alarms.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 or more years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, shipping, receiving, or related role.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion and lifting tasks.
• Good perception and response to alarms.
