Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Dayshape, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the scalability of our cloud platform and automating our infrastructure to meet the growing demands of our clients.

In Short

• Lead initiatives to enhance Dayshape’s ability to scale our cloud platform
• Maintain and improve our cloud estate in Azure
• Automate manual tasks to improve team efficiency
• Make the deployment of Dayshape more scalable
• Increase knowledge sharing of SRE across the organization
• Improve observability through reporting and tool creation
• Drive improvements to our Cost of Giving Service (COGS)
• Diagnose and triage escalated issues
• Support and mentor team members
• Work with various technologies including Azure, Terraform, and Python

Requirements

• Significant experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience delivering IaC frameworks
• Understanding of reliable, high-quality results delivery
• Proficiency in Python coding and debugging
• Experience with IaC tools like Pulumi or Terraform
• Designed infrastructure using Azure with observability and uptime considerations
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies
• Able to break down tasks and solve complex problems
• Willingness to guide junior team members
