Overview

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer 2 at Modernizing Medicine, you will be a key contributor in designing, building, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure using AWS.

• Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement and enhance observability and monitoring solutions using DataDog.
• Lead the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Manage and optimize containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Continuously monitor AWS infrastructure and application performance.
• Architect and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies on AWS.
• Act as a key point of contact for complex troubleshooting.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure follows AWS security best practices.
• Champion the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Cloud Engineering.
• Extensive experience in managing AWS environments.
• Proficiency in cloud monitoring tools like DataDog.
• Strong experience with Jenkins for CI/CD management.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Expertise in Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
