In Short

• Oversee verification operations for a pod of Verification Specialists supporting multiple practices
• Ensure verification quality and quantity standards are met at all times
• Manage team client assignments, time-off coverage, and escalated customer service issues
• Lead with a responsibility mindset to ensure team functionality
• Coordinate vacation schedules and participate in hiring decisions
• Represent your pod in company discussions
• Develop and maintain SOPs for scalable team operations
• Set and monitor pod priorities based on team capacity
• Use sound judgment to triage issues
• Accountable for pod performance and productivity

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in dental RCM, particularly in verifications
• 2+ years of experience managing or coaching a team in healthcare or billing
• Familiarity with dental billing software
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Collaborative and systems-minded approach
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
