In Short

• Lead legal response strategy for consumer disputes and regulatory matters.
• Manage all aspects of consumer litigation including escalated disputes and class actions.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on defense strategies and case management.
• Prepare and report on litigation matters to stakeholders.
• Respond to regulatory inquiries from federal and state agencies.
• Develop relationships with regulatory agencies.
• Work with a team of attorneys and legal professionals.
• Provide strategic counsel on litigation and regulatory trends.
• Design and implement policies to reduce legal exposure.
• Represent the company in settlement negotiations.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• 7-10+ years of legal experience in consumer financial services.
• Deep knowledge of consumer lending and fintech regulations.
• Experience managing litigation and responding to regulatory inquiries.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strategic mindset balancing legal risk and business objectives.
