Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), based on the East Coast of the United States to join the Cloud Platform team, which empowers DataSnipper's growth through a secure and scalable enterprise cloud platform.

In Short

• Define and own the cloud infrastructure strategy and platform roadmaps for Azure.
• Design and implement an enterprise-scale Azure Landing Zone.
• Architect highly available, multi-region solutions using Azure services.
• Enable secure private connectivity patterns and champion zero-trust principles.
• Implement end-to-end observability using Azure Monitor and other tools.
• Mentor and coach engineering teams while leading architecture reviews.
• Drive well-architected reviews for mission-critical workloads.
• Collaborate with Security to implement compliance controls.
• Evaluate and guide adoption of new Azure capabilities.
• Contribute to a fast-growing scale-up in the finance industry.

Requirements

• 7+ years in cloud architecture or platform engineering with expertise in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience designing multi-tenant, multi-region SaaS architectures.
• Strong DevOps/SRE practices and hands-on experience with CI/CD.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).
• Solid grasp of networking and security-by-design principles.
• FinOps mindset with demonstrable cost optimization skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in scripting/coding (PowerShell and one of Python/C#/Go).
• Nice to have: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and experience in regulated environments.
