Overview

We’re looking for a talented Staff Engineer to help us secure, scale and innovate our Action Platform. This role involves delivering secure, scalable solutions that are critical to both our customers and Datadog.

In Short

• Design and drive high priority, high visibility projects that increase the platform’s security, resilience and scalability.
• Lead and guide others through architectural decisions for new and existing systems.
• Identify potential system risks and design solutions to address them.
• Provide input on prioritization of engineering-led initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with partner platforms.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with security-related projects.
• Led cross-team initiatives in a platform or infrastructure-focused environment for 2+ years.
• Passionate about performance and efficiency optimization.
• Experience in designing and building resilient architectures.
• Significant back end programming experience.
