Senior Software Engineer - GCP Integrations - Remote

Overview

Datadog is looking for a senior software engineer to lead and grow the engineering team, building out our high-scale integrations with Google Cloud. As a senior engineer, you’ll be responsible for expanding and maintaining our API integrations with Google Cloud and other emerging clouds.

In Short

• Be technically involved with the team: setting technical direction, driving architectural discussions and contributing code to new and existing services.
• Partner with other teams and stakeholders within Datadog to shape our roadmap.
• Design and architect resilient solutions for distributed systems at scale.
• Mentor junior team members and help improve day-to-day practices and systems.

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in a strongly-typed language, such as Go, Java, or C++.
• Proven track record of executing and delivering.
• Built and maintained systems at scale.
• Some experience working in the cloud.
• Experience communicating and collaborating with other teams and stakeholders.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related scientific field or equivalent experience.
