In Short

• Lead all people operations and processes including compensation reviews and planning.
• Provide HR expertise and advice to leadership and managers.
• Manage the recruitment process with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
• Oversee employee relations and compliance with labor laws.
• Contribute to building a healthy workplace culture.
• Manage a small HR team and develop their professional growth.
• Develop and manage the annual Human Resources budget.
• Ensure equitable compensation policies are in place.
• Experience in multi-state labor laws is required.
• Strong project management skills are essential.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline is preferred.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. state and federal laws.
• Experience managing teams in remote environments.
• Expertise in staff-facing HR roles.
• Experience with PEOs and HRIS systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience in academic or not-for-profit settings is preferred.
