Overview

The Referral Coordinator provides customer service to DASCO’s referral sources and their claimants/patients, handling tasks such as insurance verification and order processing.

In Short

  • Full-time position with Monday to Friday schedule
  • Handles inbound and outbound calls
  • Verifies insurance coverage and obtains authorizations
  • Documents patient records and maintains privacy compliance
  • Processes orders and schedules deliveries
  • Works with Patient Advocate team and other departments
  • Requires high school diploma or GED
  • Six months of customer service experience required
  • Preferred experience in medical/healthcare/insurance field

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Six months’ inbound customer service experience
  • Associate’s degree or certification preferred
  • One year of experience in a medical/healthcare/insurance field preferred
  • Service/client focus and detail-oriented
  • Flexibility and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to manage stress effectively
