In Short

• The Referral Coordinator provides customer service to DASCO’s referral sources and their claimants/patients.
• Handles inbound/outbound calls, verifies insurance coverage, and obtains authorizations.
• Processes orders and educates referrals and patients on coverage and supplies.
• Maintains patient records and complies with HIPAA regulations.
• Works in partnership with various teams to ensure customer service excellence.
• Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with potential for remote work.

• Requires high school diploma or GED and customer service experience.
• Preferred experience in a medical/healthcare/insurance field.
• Detail-oriented and service/client focused competencies are essential.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Six months’ inbound customer service experience.
• Associate’s degree, LPN, or Professional Certification in a related field preferred.
• One year of experience in a medical/healthcare/insurance field preferred.
• Competencies in service/client focus, detail orientation, and stress management.
