Overview

Dane Street is looking for individuals to conduct Group Health reviews, which include clinical summaries and potential calls to treating providers.

In Short

• Average review time per case is 15-20 minutes.
• Cases are prepared before review.
• Calls may need to be made to providers.
• Panel Hearing calls require 1 hour of time.
• Higher compensation for Panel Appeal Hearings.
• Reports must be written following hearings.
• Expertise in specific medical conditions is required.
• Must be onboarded for Group Health Review cases.
• Maintain proper credentialing and licenses.
• Attend required orientation and training.

Requirements

• Expertise in Pediatric Hematology, Pediatric Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology, or Addiction Psychiatry.
• Knowledge of evidence-based criteria.
• Ability to critique and utilize current medical guidelines.
• Clear and concise documentation skills.
• Timely return of cases.
• Ability to make mandated telephone calls.
• Respond to quality assurance issues.
• Maintain state licenses and certifications.
• Participate in audits and court appearances if necessary.
• Attend all required training sessions.
