Dailymotion is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to strengthen its Core Platform team, responsible for building and maintaining the foundational backend infrastructure of the product ecosystem.

In Short

Design and build geo-distributed backend systems using microservices architecture.
Develop API-centric systems using REST, GraphQL, and OpenAPI standards.
Implement distributed authentication and authorization systems.
Participate in legacy system modernization and migration strategies.
Collaborate on Partner API design with backward compatibility requirements.
Proactively suggest evolutions and improvements.
Work with technologies like Python, PHP, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, and Docker.
Ensure code quality through testing and automation tools.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teammates.
Contribute to a modernized cloud-native microservices architecture.

Requirements

Strong programming capabilities in Python and PHP.
Experience with CI/CD, testing, and automation tools.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and API design patterns.
Experience with authentication/authorization systems.
Strong code review and quality assurance skills.
