Payroll/AP Specialist - Remote

Join our dynamic Accounting team as a Payroll/AP Specialist, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth payroll operations and vendor payment processes.

In Short

• Process multi-state payroll accurately using Paylocity.
• Maintain and audit timekeeping records.
• Assist with payroll audits and compliance initiatives.
• Handle commissions, benefits deductions, and garnishments.
• Ensure payroll tax compliance.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and assist with year-end reporting.
• Manage invoices and payments for accounts payable.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain vendor compliance.
• Support HR with payroll system administration.
• Work in a hybrid schedule with 4 days in office and 1 remote.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with Paylocity preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance.
• Familiarity with AP procedures and vendor management.
• High level of accuracy in data entry and financial reconciliation.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
