In Short

• Join D-Matrix’s Simulations team to provide virtual platforms for software development.
• Implement a unified performance modeling strategy across simulations.
• Contribute to cycle-accurate or cycle-approximate simulators.
• Produce functional and performant models from specification documents.
• Debug speeds, feeds, and congestion issues through correlation with RTL simulation.
• Lead junior engineers and contractors.
• Work in a Linux environment with version control tools.
• Experience with performance simulators in C++.
• Strong sense of ownership and delegation skills.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics or related degree.
• 10+ years of industry experience.
• Expert in C++ and proficient in Python.
• Experience with frameworks like SPARTA, SystemC, Gem5, or GPGPU-Sim.
• Experience correlating performance simulators to hardware implementation.
• Prior startup or small team experience is desired.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, HPC, or cloud computing.
• Knowledge of generative ML models such as BERT, GPT2, and Llama.
