Cybersecurity & Compliance Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a Cybersecurity & Compliance Analyst, you will own all aspects of cybersecurity compliance for your assigned clients within CyberSheath’s Managed Compliance Services. You will lead compliance efforts and provide oversight for the implementation of cybersecurity frameworks, manage client relationships, and ensure continuous compliance with industry regulations.

• Own and lead compliance efforts for assigned clients.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients on compliance status.
• Lead and execute compliance assessments (e.g., DFARS, NIST 800-171, CMMC).
• Implement and monitor compliance frameworks.
• Guide clients through internal and external audits.
• Develop and maintain compliance documentation.
• Conduct regular risk assessments.
• Deliver security awareness training programs.
• Collaborate with client technical teams and vendors.
• Ensure continuous improvement of compliance postures.

Requirements

• Broad understanding of systems and security engineering principles.
• Experience within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
• Hands-on experience with NIST 800-171, CMMC, DFARS.
• CMMC Certified Assessor, CISSP, CISM, or relevant certifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong follow-through and reliability in meeting deadlines.
• Passion for continuous learning and improvement.
• Ability to convey complex compliance requirements clearly.
• Experience in incident management and risk assessments.
